Music in Motion Canada music awards announces its fourth year celebrating Canadian music, emerging artists and industry excellence.
A Canadian music awards program which shines a spotlight on emerging and established artists while supporting artist development, diversity and the future of Canada’s music industry
CANADA — Registration is open from Sept 15th to Oct 30th — Music in Motion Canada is proud to announce the FOURTH Music in Motion Canada Music Awards, a national awards program created to recognize, celebrate and help advance Canadian musical talent.
The Music in Motion Canada Music Awards will provide artists, songwriters, musicians, producers and music industry professionals with an opportunity to gain recognition for their creative achievements while connecting with audiences, industry leaders and potential partners across Canada.
“Our goal is to create more than an awards program,” said Barb Keck, Founder of Music in Motion Canada. “We have created a platform that recognizes Canadian talent, creates opportunities for artists and contributes to a stronger and more inclusive Canadian music industry.”
The awards will showcase artists across a broad range of musical genres, providing a national platform for both emerging and established impendent talent.
More Than An Award
Music in Motion Canada is developing the awards as part of a broader commitment to artist development and industry opportunity.
Beyond recognition, the program is designed to help artists build their careers through increased exposure, promotional opportunities, industry connections, educational initiatives and partnerships with organizations that support Canada’s music community.
The initiative also recognizes the importance of creating opportunities for artists from diverse backgrounds, communities and musical genres.
“Canadian music is incredibly diverse,” said Barb Keck.
“There are talented artists working in every province and territory and across countless genres. Music in Motion Canada wants to help ensure those voices are heard, discovered and celebrated.”
Supporting The Next Generation
A key component of the Music in Motion Canada Music Awards is its focus on emerging artists.
Through partnerships with music schools, educational organizations, music businesses, sponsors and industry professionals, Music in Motion Canada aims to create pathways for developing artists to gain knowledge, mentorship, exposure and real-world opportunities.
The program is also seeking corporate sponsors, music industry partners, educational institutions and community organizations interested in supporting Canadian artists and the future of Canada’s music ecosystem.
A National Celebration Of Canadian Music
The Music in Motion Canada Music Awards will bring together artists, music professionals, educators, sponsors, media and music fans to celebrate the creativity and contribution of Canada’s music community.
Award nominations, submission information, sponsorship opportunities and program announcements will be released through Music in Motion Canada’s official channels.
