An award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter with roots in both rock and country, Kris Anders is celebrated for his poetic lyrics, strong melodies, and powerful storytelling. Hailing from small-town Manitoba and now earning national and international recognition, Kris’s body of work—including singles “Shattered” and “Open Road”—continues to gain momentum. With over a million streams, along with honours from the BC Country Music Awards and the Western Canadian Music Awards, Kris has established himself as a rising voice in Canadian country music. On stage, he delivers a live show that’s emotionally resonant and sonically polished. Kris performs both as a solo act and with his backing band, The Flatlanders, and is based in the Okanagan Valley of BC, Canada.
His recent accolades include 2025 and 2026 nominations for Roots Act of the Year and Music Video of the Year at the BC Country Music Awards, a 2023 Western Canadian Music Award nomination for Rock Act of the Year, and 2025 Josie Music Award nominations for both Vocalist and Artist of the Year.
